As a child, l'il Steve Debono would sit for hours with Book D of the Encyclopedia Brittanica, memorizing all the dog breeds. He dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, until his parents told him that meant he would be in school until he was 30. So he took on a job in the web industry.

A few years ago, Steve had had enough of the internet business, and took a job walking dogs for a prestigious Manhattan agency. It wasn't long before he realized that working with animals was what made him happy.

Now, with Petato, Steve is bringing his top notch service and personal touch home to Brooklyn.

Steve is currently working on becoming a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer, and has assisted in obedience classes at Empire of the Dog and Andrea Arden.

Steve resides in Fort Greene, Brooklyn with his girlfriend Jessica, 2 dogs, Moatie and Bucket, and 2 cats, Maggie and Jack.
